Does the EV charging cable have to be installed?

No, as long as a 3-phase 16A CEE socket is available, no installation is required to use the EV charging cable. Whether at home or on the go

Why does my plug-in hybrid (PHEV) only charge at 3.5 kW even though I have an 11 kW wallbox?

The charging power is limited by your PHEV's on-board charger (OBC), not by the wallbox. Many PHEV models are designed for gentle charging at lower power. You can find the maximum AC charging power in your vehicle documentation

Why does the wallbox show current on L1 and L2, but 0.0A on L3?

This is often due to the vehicle. Many vehicles – for example, the Audi Q5 – only charge using two phases, even though the wallbox provides three phases. This is normal and not a defect.

Why does the screen flash white from time to time?

"Please check the voltage at your household socket.

Normally the voltage is below 174 V, and the charger displays an error message. The voltage was lower than 40 V, and the screen was flashing.
