Comfort and Interior

Test reports highlight the MG S6 EV primarily as a comfortable and spacious vehicle. The interior impresses with high-quality materials, well-thought-out ergonomics and plenty of space for passengers.

The low energy consumption of 16.6 kWh/100 km for rear-wheel drive underlines the vehicle's efficiency and contributes to an everyday range. In combination with the extensive standard equipment, the S6 EV offers a balanced mix of comfort, safety and functionality.

Safety Equipment

MG has extensively equipped the S6 EV with safety features. These include assistance systems for lane keeping, emergency braking and collision warning. The model achieved a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP tests, which underlines its suitability as a family vehicle.

Performance and Charging Behavior

The maximum output is 245 hp, which is common for the mid-range segment, but seems slightly ambitious given the price. All-wheel drive provides additional traction and stability, especially in changing road conditions.

When charging, the S6 EV shows mixed results: With a DC charging capacity of a maximum of 144 kW, the vehicle needs 38 minutes to go from 10 to 80 percent. In this segment, the charging speed is therefore rated as average.

Market Positioning and Price

In the electricar e-car index, the MG S6 EV achieves 79 percent in the mid-range, which confirms its attractiveness in terms of range, efficiency and space. The model starts at just under 50,000 euros for the rear-wheel drive variant and is around 54,000 euros for the all-wheel drive version.

MG is thus targeting buyers who prioritize practical use, range and comfort over charging speed or sporty acceleration. For families, commuters or users who regularly cover long distances, the S6 EV offers a balanced solution.
